We created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for this web site and IEV Corporation, its affiliates and holdings ("IEV").
Registration Forms
Our site's registration form and newsletter sign-up form require users to give us their e-mail address and other contact information. Your account e-mail address will be used in the following ways: 1) To notify you of important offers from IEV; 2) To alert you to changes to services or regulations that may impact your business; and 3) To send you our periodic newsletter. Your e-mail address and other contact information will never be shared with a third party. You may request to enter other e-mail addresses as notification contacts. Those e-mail addresses will never be used for purposes other than notification of change in service status. If submitted your credit card billing information will be used only for authorization and settlement of charges you incur by using our services or buying our products.
Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Because some of our services are subscription-based, it may be necessary to keep your credit card billing information in our database depending on the services you select. When you create or update your account, including credit card information, your session will be encrypted by our secure server (SSL). Once your credit card information has been entered it will be stored in an encrypted format on our server. After that, we will only display four digits of your credit card number on your account information form.
Information Automatically Logged
We log your IP address while you are visiting our site so we can understand how to improve our site's navigation, etc. If you log into a user account on our site, we save your IP address with your user record to help protect ourselves from fraudulent use. When you log in to your account we send your browser one cookie containing a session key. The session key is used for no other purpose than to allow you to navigate our site, and to automatically log you in when you return. The cookie expires when you click "Logout" on the menu. We will delete the corresponding session record from our server if you leave it active without visiting for more than 30 days.
